Tomorrow we gather to worship the King who saves! We continue in Mark with a look at the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem just before His death. We’ll see the danger of looking for political saviors instead of our spiritual king and savior.

We all have standards & preferences when it comes to worship services, but always gathering with an evaluative or critical disposition is a great way to treat the service as revolving around you. And since we all make fickle gods, you will always be dissatisfied with your church. Jared C. Wilson

Missions Month starts Sunday at 10:30am! Home-groups will gather at the church Sunday night for the Lord’s Table and prayer. Looking forward to a great Lord’s Day.

As we kick off our missions focus month we’re thrilled to have Roy and Edi Seals from Global Faith mission with us Sunday! We are praying that the Lord will stir our hearts to deeper and greater faithfulness in taking the Gospel to every creature. Join us at 10:30am for morning worship.

2019 theme reveal tomorrow!

Don’t forget about our midweek schedule change - no prayer gathering tomorrow. Looking forward to praying in home groups starting Sunday. The Foundry starts next week for men, college Bible study resumes Tuesday, and teens meet in small group Wednesday!

Due to the changing weather situation we will not have our Sunday evening gathering tonight (December 9).

It looks like Greenwood was spared (or missed out depending on your perspective) the icy stuff. We’re clear at the church and meeting like normal!

We are watching the weather closely and for now everything is a go! We'll evaluate again in the morning and make a final call around 8am.

We are excited about a new discipleship group starting in January! These men will meet each Tuesday, share a meal, and study the Bible together. More details to follow!

Home groups start back on January 6th! We will be working through some excellent material called, "Gospel-Shaped Outreach". Sign up Sunday at the information center.

‪Great night last night as one of our men took the pulpit to preach from James 1. He’s considering the mission field as a doctor while helping in a church plant. Training and sending people to labor in the harvest is a vital part of the work of the local church. Jon did a fantastic job!‬

Our gatherings are still on tomorrow. To be safe, we will reevaluate in the morning and if there are any changes, they will be announced here and then by text. Pray for a day tomorrow that brings glory to Jesus!

Back to School Bash 2018 is in the books! We had a great time meeting neighbors and handing out school supplies for the new school year. If we met you there, hope to see you again soon!
